NASA Space Shuttle Grumman G-2 Trainer
Client:
The Evergreen Aviation Museum
McMinnville, OR
The Evergreen Aviation Museum was given one of the NASA Space Shuttle Grumman G-2 trainers (Shuttle Training Aircraft). These trainers were used to teach the Shuttle Pilots and Mission Commanders how the Shuttle would behave on approach and landing. This STA was flown by all pilots and commanders and was the highest time trainer with over 50,000 practice landings. Unfortunately, due to this high time it was considered no longer airworthy. We were contracted to disassemble and transport it form Houston Texas, to the museum in McMinnville, OR.
